Can I prevent tendon injuries?

Yes, warming up and cooling down with exercise are advisable and avoiding significant changes to exercise intensity such as deciding to run a 10km with no prior training or moving from a 50kg deadlift to a 100kg deadlift in a short space of it. Taking general health into account is very important too! Tendon injuries are more common in those with poor health, overweight, smoking or excess alcohol consumption and with certain medications.
